Who this is for

Talkicorn at talkicorn.com is a voice friend for children about 2 to 10. You, the parent or guardian, create the account and start the call. Your child does not get their own account. Please stay nearby, especially the first times.

The friends are practice buddies. Talkicorn does not diagnose, treat, cure, or replace a licensed speech-language pathologist, a doctor, or a medical device. If you are worried about your child's speech, talk with your pediatrician or an SLP.

The call

A call is a conversation with a character, such as Luna the unicorn. The friend can tell a story, play, and sometimes invite one word. The child path does not browse the web, open links, or place your child in a chat with strangers.

Live voice is processed by xAI so the friend can hear and speak. More on what leaves the device is in the Privacy Policy.

The friend can misunderstand a mumble or stay on a silly idea. That is part of a voice model. It is not a clinical judgment, and it is not a reason to treat the call as therapy.

Your account

A parent account is an email and a password for this browser. Keep the password to yourself. Don't ask your child to enter an address, a school, a phone number, or a photo.

You agree to use Talkicorn for your own family, to follow the law, and not to try to push the friend into scary, violent, romantic, or adult talk.

Price and canceling

Guests can try a short call with no card. After that, a parent can add a card for 24 hours free, then $19.99 a month. The plan includes 750 voice minutes in a month, plus one 60-minute courtesy block if you say yes, and an optional pack of 300 more minutes for $9.99.

Cancel anytime. Cancel before the 24-hour trial ends and the card is not charged. After a monthly charge, canceling stops the next renewal. The details, including a mistaken charge, are in the Refund Policy.

Minutes are counted in the browser you use. Another device has its own count until a shared account exists.

The service can change

We may update friends, stories, the minute cap, or these terms. If we change the price or a term that affects a paid month, the change applies to the next renewal, not the days you already paid for. The date at the bottom is the version you are reading.

Talkicorn is provided as a home practice friend. We work to keep calls kind and available. We do not promise uninterrupted service or a particular speech outcome.
